JACOBS' ERF STUD

Xanadu came to the stud as an two year old and is bred by Adelprag Stud in Potchefstroom.  He comes from a long line of KFPS approved Friesians that excelled in dressage and sport.  His Sire Eelke VD Wiske Hoeve is an KFPS approved stallion with VB Ster + Sport status.  Eelke is out of legendary stallion Tsjerk 328 Sport + Pref. "Tsjerk had an indispensable contribution to the transformation of the modern Friesian. He also inherits a lot of luxury. Precisely that luxury is the pillar of the success of the Friesian horse." (http://www.holland-friesians.nl). Xanadu's dam Wijke van Noordwijk is out of famous Brandus 345 Sport Pref.  He competed at ZZ level Dressage with paces which are naturally elevated with free floating movements. 

Xanadu is very curious of nature and a fast learner.  There is not one gate on the farm that het has not mastered to open! He showcases beautiful natural movement with lots of charisma and character.  Xanadu's progeny is very uniform in conformation, with good height, astounding temperaments and beautiful heads with lovely floating movement.  Xanadu is now owned by Rory Williamson, Gauteng and starting his competition career in dressage.
