Jacobs' Erf Stud, breeders of South African Friesians and Friesian Sporthorses for family and competition. The stud is situated in the heart of SA, Lucerne, Trompsburg, Southern Freestate. Our horses are raised in natural herd structures and are handled from a young age. We believe in natural horsemanship and prioritises the happiness and individuality of our horses above all. Our goal is to breed modern type friesians that are trainable, athletic and confident. Jacobs' Erf Stud offers a very unique genetic make-up, carrying some the oldest South African Friesian bloodlines (1941) homogenized with top KFPS and FPSSA approved stallions. Jacobs' Erf stud recently started a Friesian sporthorse breeding program, breeding our most athletic Friesian mares to suitable Warmblood, Thoroughbred and Arabian stallions to produce eye-catching baroque type Sporthorses.
